Biography
Sharon Schmitt is a partner in Northern Lights Inc. NLI is located in the Greater Washington DC Tech Corridor and has eleven years experience providing information management consulting for higher education, university libraries, research centers, cultural institutions, grant agencies, public policy institutions, and nonprofits. She specializes in content strategies and information services design, but is also experiences with enterprise information architecture, user-framed, value-added design models, metadata issues, data warehouses, information audits, business process modeling, and enterprise content management. Sharon has an undergraduate degree from Case Western Reserve University and a degree in information and library science from Kent State University. She shares her Northern Virginia home with her family, including two Great Danes and a Tibetan Mastiff.
